Nominations now open for Telstra ARIA Music Teacher Award 2020!
Do you Know an Incredible Music Teacher?
The Song Room and ARIA are excited to announce that nominations for the fourth Telstra ARIA Music Teacher Award are now open!
This award rewards teachers for their hard work, creativity and dedication to their students and wider community. This year, being a teacher has never been so demanding. By celebrating our amazing music teachers, we shine a light on the importance of music education to connect students to learning and enrich their lives.
Last year, Antonio Chiappetta, from St Andrews College, in Western Sydney had his very own rockstar experience when he shared the red carpet with Australian music legends and was celebrated as the 2019 award winner!
Antonio was one of four music teachers from across Australia chosen as a nominee for the 2019 award. ARIA Ambassadors Conrad Sewell, Katie Noonan, Emma Watkins from The Wiggles, and Montaigne, visited their schools and helped to tell their stories.
