Happy NAIDOC Week. We’d like to thank our amazing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Teaching Artists who generously share their knowledge, culture and creativity. Through your amazing work you empower young people and build connection, understanding and pride in the oldest living culture in the world.
Our Talented Teaching Artist, Ceridwyn Gordon organised students at Grovedale West Primary School to perform in their Indigenous Garden this week. Working closely with the classroom teachers, Ceridwyn and the Year 1 and 2 students prepared this beautiful performance that incorporated both Auslan and Wadawurrung language.
National Reconciliation Week is fast approaching!

experience.” Participating principal, Arts and Wellbeing Program, School’s Mental Health Menu.

What an amazing gathering of students, teachers and partners to connect and celebrate their Transformational Learning through Creativity (TLC) program in Geelong. The ‘Big Day of Learning’ brought together three Geelong schools who have taken part TLC over the last three years. The best bit was we saw students from different schools working together, strengthening #connections to their #learning, #community, and each other. New BFFs? We hope so!
