Qualified arts learning experts, including teachers and arts, music and play therapists, use arts learning to teach social and emotional skills to support student wellbeing and learning.
Enquire about The Song Room in your schoolThe Song Room’s arts and wellbeing programs take place in schools in weekly sessions utilising an inclusive, trauma-informed and strengths-based approach. Through explicit social and emotional learning students develop confidence, self-awareness, self-management and responsible decision making, while increasing their sense of belonging and school pride.
An evidence-based educational design supports diverse and vulnerable students using sequential, curriculum-aligned arts learning. Sessions range from individual and small groups to whole school projects. Programs are tailored to the school and timetabled collaboratively.

- The Song Room’s Social and Emotional Learning through the Arts program in Victoria is a 10-week, place-based, arts and wellbeing program found on the Victorian Schools Mental Health Menu. Funding is available for Victorian Government primary schools as part of the Schools Mental Health Fund.
