The Song Room is hosting a national Drumathon Giving Day on 13 November 2025, bringing together schools, artists, and communities across Australia to raise awareness and funds for arts and music education. This campaign champions the impact of arts education on wellbeing and learning, while bringing people together through fun, inclusive, and joyful activities.

From now until 13 November, join schools, artists and communities across Australia as we come together to raise awareness and funds for music and arts education.  Then, on 13 November please join us for a 12-hour Giving Day from 8am-8pm to celebrate arts learning and fundraise to help vulnerable children find their voice, connection and confidence through the arts.

Ways to Get Involved

The campaign encourages individuals, schools, and communities to get involved in various ways leading up to the main event. People can set up their own drumming challenges and events to raise awareness and vital funds.

Here’s how to participate:

• Take on a Challenge: Join an online or in-real-life challenge and get your community behind it.
• Host an Event: Use an end-of-year school concert, work party, or community gathering as a way to raise funds and celebrate creativity.
• Spread the Word: Amplify the message of arts learning by sharing your challenge and using the provided social media toolkit and posters.
• Create a Team: Set up a fundraising page and rally friends, classmates, or colleagues to join you.
• Donate: Make a one-off donation or support one of the Drumathon teams to help change lives through music and arts education.
