Introducing Online Learning to New Audiences
Digital education was thrust into the spotlight in 2020 when COVID-19 limited face-to face lessons. Many teachers had never considered using online resources before this and they were forced into
an unfamiliar online world in order to continue teaching.
The Song Room has been working in digital education for over 7 years with the award- winning online learning platform, ARTS:LIVE. 2020 presented a huge opportunity for us
to introduce more teachers to the benefits of ARTS:LIVE which contains thousands of curriculum aligned Arts Learning resources perfect to meet the needs of overwhelmed teachers looking for quality, ready-to-use lessons and activities.
The results were outstanding with ARTS:LIVE showing significant growth in 2020. New registrations grew by 99% over the year. At its peak in April, traffic to the registration page increased by 806% in a one-week period. Production of new activity guides grew by 224% over the year giving almost 30,000 registered users access to online learning tools that supported them during school lock down, but importantly introduced them to ARTS:LIVE for ongoing use once they returned to the classroom.
I would forever recommend your resource and point professionals to your site (ARTS:LIVE) as the richness supported my program enormously last year.”
