McKay Children’s Centre in Penola, South Australia, is one of ten schools on the Limestone Coast benefiting from The Song Room’s Transformational Learning Through Creativity (TLC) music program. The TLC initiative aims to transform school culture, through impactful engagement in arts education. By embracing music at their school students, teachers, and school leaders can build a thriving, connected school, where the entire community flourishes.

Kylie talks glowingly about The Song Room’s “Rockstar” Teaching Artist Mentor (and ARIA Award winner) Scott Maxwell, as well as quoting educator Dr Anita Collins.

In 2023, The Song Room music program is being delivered in partnership with the South Australian Government’s Department for Education, Music Education Strategy.
