Primary School Uses The Arts to Combat BullyingRiverside Primary School in Western Australia is working with The Song Room to use arts-based programs as a tool to combat antisocial behaviour such as bullying and gang behaviour in the playground.
The Song Room has been working with Riverside Primary School since 2008 with Teaching Artist James Gill, locally known as “Fish”, conducting classroom and lunchtime drumming workshops with students who are identified as at risk of behavioural problems.
