Schools invited to see international group Whiffenpoofs in Melbourne
The Song Room invites your school to sing along with The Whiffenpoofs. A FREE workshop/performance event on Monday 13th August at The Great Hall, The National Gallery of Victoria 11.00am – 12.00pm.
The Whiffenpoofs are the world's oldest and best-known collegiatea cappella group. Founded in 1909, the "Whiffs" began as a seniorquartet that met for weekly concerts. Today, the group has become oneof Yale's most celebrated traditions. Currently on a three month worldwidetour they are kindly spending an hour with students from your schoolto encourage the wonderful art of singing!
