Some students performed a 30 minute presentation called AZASU, which used music, dance, drama and projection presentation to tell the story of their journey to Australia as refugee children. It was a powerful piece of theatre and one that resonated deeply with our audience.

Students were also treated to WAMi Award Winning brass’n’beats sensation The Brow Horn Orchestra who have a unique sound combining an infectious mix of ska, electronic, hip-hop and pop. The press are heralding the six to nine piece as Perth’s next big thing. The music is universal, catchy and diverse exploring styles across African grooves, flamenco licks, jazzy horns, dubstep basslines, poppy chorus and beyond.
