The Governor joins The Song Room at KPMG Cocktail Party

At a function in May 2007 in KPMG’s magnificent Collins St Atrium, and in the presence of the Governor, Professor David de Kretser AC, The Song Room thanked its major supporters and detailed its exciting plans to use the arts as an innovative means of re-engaging children in learning and their school community.

The evening, enjoyed by some of Melbourne’s leading corporate and philanthropic figures, was a resounding success and enabled The Song Room’s major supporters to hear about the national implementation of its programs and the wonderful work it is doing with some of Australia’s most disadvantaged children.
