The Song Room Socials
And we’re back! Thanks to our Teaching Artist who joined us this week to kick off the new school year. Everyone has had a great break and is ready to get back into an exciting year of arts learning. Thanks to The Song Room’s arts learning team for hosting an informative, inclusive and inspiring session. Welcome back everyone!
“I could not have asked for anything more fitting for our school! The program did everything I wanted it to and more. The flexibility was outstanding, students happy smiling faces and our classroom teachers learning alongside them was a wonderful
experience.” Participating principal, Arts and Wellbeing Program, School’s Mental Health Menu.
Teachers, use this resource to help tidy up before the end of year! Junk percussion on ARTS:LIVE will take your students on a creative musical journey during the final weeks of term. They’ll learn to make and play instruments out of classroom waste. Creative learning and a clean classroom. BOOM!

What an amazing gathering of students, teachers and partners to connect and celebrate their Transformational Learning through Creativity (TLC) program in Geelong. The ‘Big Day of Learning’ brought together three Geelong schools who have taken part TLC over the last three years. The best bit was we saw students from different schools working together, strengthening #connections to their #learning, #community, and each other. New BFFs? We hope so!
